Janis joined the firm in 1987. She began her banking career in 1973 with the former Merrill Trust Company of Bangor, Maine, where she worked in the trust department for 14 years.
As Vice President, Client Services Officer, Janis participates in daily administration processing at our Ellsworth location.
Janis received her Certificate in Accounting from Beal College. During her banking career, she has successfully completed requirements at the Northern New England School of Banking, and various other banking courses. She has been involved with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Maine Mentoring Program and serves on the Board of Schoodic Arts for All as Treasurer. Janis is a native of Rockland, Maine, and currently resides in Gouldsboro, Maine.
